I found a job that you can do from the comfort of your home. It’s Great Aupair and its an online service that matches people needing childcare with child care providers. Not only do they do childcare – they will also match people to take care of seniors and even offers opportunities for tutors as well.
What you will be doing if you got hired here:
Working from home answering calls for customer service. You will serve as a liaison between customers and the development team.
What they require (from their website)
- 4+ years consumer-related customer service experience.
- 4+ years of Internet and computer experience with both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS environments. Must be proficient in IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, WordPress, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Acrobat Distiller/Reader, Skype, Facebook, Twitter and automated posting tools such as TweetDeck.
- Articulate communicator with excellent English written and verbal skills.
- Proven ability to resolve customer complaints and technical issues with grace and professionalism.
- Must demonstrate active learning skills with the ability to quickly absorb and apply new information.
- Serve as a catalyst for new product ideas and service improvements.
- Sharp analytical skills sufficient to gather and interpret data to make informed autonomous decisions.
- Proven ability as a team player and a self-starter who can work independently, take initiative and get jobs done in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work in a virtual environment via telecommute over high speed Internet access in a quiet and protected work space free from background noise such that the performance of duties is done in the most professional manner.
- Typing skill of 50+ words per minute.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Consistent, positive “can-do” attitude with the confidence to back it up.
- College graduates preferred. Fluency in foreign languages is a plus.
- Experience as an Au Pair, Nanny Babysitter, Pet Sitter, Personal Assistant or Senior Care Provider, or has hired care providers in the past is a plus.
Hours that you must be able to work: (pacific times)
- Tuesday – Friday: 5 – 8pm
- Saturday – Sunday: 9 – 11am; 3 – 4pm; 8 – 9pm (times are somewhat flexible).
