Some calls are technical support calls for certain software. Usually technical support jobs you will have to pass a technical test to see that you can work around a computer and help others do this. They don’t have a phone number listed on the site. Legitimate companies will have phone numbers that you can contact them.  Everything should be listed on the contact page.

Before sending personal information to a website, do your homework., Check out the company by doing a google search and seeing what other people have to say about the company.

Skills that you will need:

You will have to have certain skills to do data entry jobs from home. You will have to have accurate computing skills. You will have to know how to operate the computer and save and open and modify files. You will probably be on a deadline with your work, and you will want to be sure you are proficient with a computer.

You will be kind of like self employed. You will need to be disciplined to be able to complete your jobs on time. Sine you are not punching a time clock, this can be easy to procrastinate and then you won’t be able to get your assignments completed.
