It’s hard to find the legitimate data entry jobs from home when reading over the ads, but here are some ways that you can look and find the legitimate jobs easier.

Red Flags:

Do they want money for you to work for them? Legitimate jobs don’t ask for money upfront for you to order material. They may require you to pay for background checks, but materials? Almost never. So if they are asking you to purchases something – you may want to move on and keep looking.

They don’t have a complete mailing address. If it is a legitimate business they will have a mailing address that you could find in Google Maps – now not all companies will have the street address – but most should have it.
